Brenna Miles is a kind woman who you'll rarely see without a smile. Her encouraging personality inspires others to lead a balanced and healthy lifestyle. She brings a positive attitude and exciting style to all her classes, and she strives for everyone to walk away from class with feelings of confidence, satisfaction and joy.
In 1988 Brenna began her fitness career as a Group Exercise Instructor. Since then she's taught at some of the top gyms in the country, participated in fitness videos and commercials, and presented master classes in several states. You may have also seen Brenna on Cory Everson's "Gotta Sweat" fitness show on ESPN2!
She can teach a wide variety of classes but her specialties include yoga, spinning and her unique dance-fitness classes (Ballet Sculpt, Groovy Moves, Hawaiian Hula and Latin Jam). Brenna has more than 20 years of dance training. She danced professionally in Los Angeles, and her dance knowledge and experience are apparent in all her classes.
Brenna has also been a very successful Group Exercise Director. She has a decade of valuable management experience.
Brenna is an avid sports fan and all-around athlete. Growing up she excelled in tennis, basketball and track. She now enjoys running and paddling, and she's learning (gradually) to play golf. After attending the University of North Dakota for four years, she graduated in 1991.
In 1994 Brenna married her best friend, Scott Miles. The couple moved to Los Angeles in 1997 so Brenna could pursue her dance and fitness careers. In 2000 they fulfilled their dream of moving to the Hawaiian Island of Maui. After two amazing years on Maui, Scott & Brenna moved back to Madison. In 2006 she gave birth to their first child...a boy named Reagan James Miles! The Miles Family returned to Maui in 2007.
Brenna is thankful and eager to share her passion for health, fitness and dance. She believes that working out is as much for your mind as it is for your body. She encourages her students to appreciate what their bodies can do and to let go of any stress and anxiety when they're in class so they can truly enjoy the experience. Brenna also believes in: spending time with people you love, engaging in work and activities you enjoy and that are meaningful to you, being kind to others, and embracing life with enthusiasm.

Ballet Sculpt
This cutting-edge class is designed for people of all shapes, sizes and backgrounds. It combines ballet movements with traditional strength training techniques to make an enjoyable workout for dancers and non-dancers alike. During the unique cardio section students will learn a fun ballet combination. Ballet Sculpt will help to improve body awareness, grace, flexibility and overall fitness.
Groovy Moves
Groovy Moves is a consistent favorite. It's all about leaving your worries behind so you can ultimately enjoy the freedom of movement. The funky Hip Hop choreography is for everyone. Breakdown methods allow for all participants to catch on -- you'll be amazed at what your body can do! Energetic music, along with great moves for the dance floor, make this a workout you don't want to miss!
Hawaiian Hula
Hula is a beautiful and graceful form of dance which tells a story through the dancer's arms and hands. You'll learn the core movements of hula along with a traditional Hawaiian dance. Picture yourself in paradise where the sun is shining, the flowers are blooming and the blue Pacific Ocean is crystal clear. Aloha!
Latin Jam
HOT, HOT, HOT! The shimmy, mambo, and cha-cha-cha are just a few of the moves that make Latin Jam sizzle! (No experience is necessary.) This lighthearted class is perfect for anyone who wants to break out of their comfort zone and go for it. Latin Jam is taught in an aerobics-style format so no partners are used, but athletic shoes and a spicy attitude are required!
Yoga Bliss & Yoga Strength
Rejuvenate yourself by clearing your mind and focusing on the moment. Tension and stress are released (both physically and mentally) through yoga postures, fluid stretching, static stretching and deep breathing. These popular BrennaYoga classes also promote flexibility and strength, and they're truly a rewarding experience. Yoga Bliss & Yoga Strength DVDs are just $15 each or only $25 for both (plus $4 s&h).
